About Me
Teagan Beard
Director, Speech Pathologist
Hi there! I am a fun loving Speech Pathologist who loves to play and learn. I graduated from Flinders University in 2015 and have worked with lots of different people to help improve their communication abilities. I have worked in a number of places including private practice, schools and government.
My aim is to help you achieve your goals so that you can be independent! I highly value teamwork and will work with you and your wider team to create change and build independence.
I have experience supporting children with communication delays and disabilities with their families in order to achieve functional changes in their everyday lives. I am able to provide assessments and therapy for children with communication difficulties, including those who have neurological differences such as Autism, ADHD, Intellectual Disability and Learning Difficulties.
I am a strong believer in a holistic and person centred approach to therapy. I strive to build safe and trusting connections with my clients and their families in order to support the child’s communication development, advocating for them within their communities. I believe that by supporting parents and caregivers to continue to implement strategies or techniques at home will provide the greatest amount of change for your child. Let me help you to create positive change, we can embark on the journey together!
